- What is Yarina?
- Yarina is an AI voice messaging companion for the people you stay close to. You speak; it sends, receives, and holds what matters — like a modern walkie-talkie app, but with an agent handling the routing instead of leaving you to a chat thread.
- Is Yarina a walkie-talkie app?
- In spirit, yes — messages arrive as voice notes that play automatically, the way a walkie-talkie would. The difference is Yarina is agent-first: an AI agent drafts, routes, and briefs you on what needs your attention, instead of just delivering raw audio into an inbox.
- How does the Emergency SOS feature work?
- One press opens a live SOS session with up to three people you trust. They see your live location, speed, and a short voice note, and can respond with "Coming," "Calling," or "Can't help" — acknowledgments you can see arrive in real time.
- Is Yarina free?
- Yes — Yarina is free to download from Google Play and free to use. What it costs is a code: Yarina is invite-only, so creating an account needs a referral code from a member or an invite code from us.
- How do I get an invite code?
- Two ways. Someone already using Yarina can invite you — every member can invite 2 friends a day, and their code is in Settings → Referrals. Or email hello@yarina.ai (or use the form on the homepage) and we'll send you an invite code. Either kind of code goes in the same box when you sign up.
- Why is Yarina invite-only?
- Yarina is built by one person, and it's a voice app for small circles — it only works if the people you'd actually talk to are on it. Growing through invites keeps it that way, and keeps support answerable by a human. It isn't a scarcity tactic; ask and you'll get a code.
- Who is Yarina built for?
- Yarina is built by a solo developer for the small circle of people you talk to every day — family, close friends, or anyone you'd rather hear from than read.
- I can't get past the verification step when signing in.
- Two things fix almost every case. First, set Chrome as your default browser — verification opens in whichever browser is default, and some can't complete it. Second, open Play Store → profile → Settings → About and check Play Protect certification; if it says your device is not certified, register it at google.com/android/uncertified, then try again.
